1990 Fleer Troy Aikman (#384) NM HOFer, Future SB Champ ^GRUMPYBUCK^

Troy Aikman had a rough rookie year. The Cowboys went 1-15. Ouch. But 1990, the year this Fleer card (#384) came out, was pretty decent. In 1991, the Cowboys went to the playoffs and even won a game. In 1992 and 1993, they won Super Bowls.

When this card first printed, no one could have guessed the wildly successful, Hall-of-Fame career that Troy Aikman would have. What he’s done in the broadcast booth since his retirement from football has only solidified his status as a legend.

This card is in near-mint condition with only slight wear from over the years. It’s been in my possession since 1991, when I suppose I pulled it out of a pack or traded for it with a friend.
