1989 Bowman Nolan Ryan (#225) NM HOFer, 1st Rangers Season ^GRUMPYBUCK^

Nolan Ryan came to the Texas Rangers from the Houston Astros for the 1989 season. He thought he would pitch one more year. He ended up staying for five, a tenure during which he reached 300 wins, struck out his 5,000th hitter, and pitched two no-hitters. Just an incredible ending for a stellar career.
