Ralph Sampson was a towering presence with guard-like skills — a 7'4" phenom who entered the league as a can't-miss prospect. The 1984 Rookie of the Year and a four-time All-Star, Sampson teamed up with Hakeem Olajuwon to form Houston’s legendary “Twin Towers” frontcourt. Injuries shortened his prime, but at his peak, Sampson was one of the most unique big men the game had ever seen.
