1981 Topps Dan Fouts (#265) NM HOFer, Chargers Great ^GRUMPYBUCK^

Dan Fouts was the triggerman for the Air Coryell offenses of the late 70s and early 80s. His crowning achievement was perhaps the playoff victory over the Dolphins at the Orange Bowl after the 1981 season. Alas, the Chargers couldn’t get past the Bengals on a frigid day in Cincinnati in the next round of the playoffs, and he never claimed that elusive Super Bowl ring.
