The Wizard of Oz is one of the greatest defenders in Major League Baseball history, no matter the position and no matter the era. He made 15 All-Star games and won 13 Gold Gloves. He was a member of the St. Louis Cardinals’ 1982 World Series team, which beat the Brewers. And he was a first-ballot Hall of Famer.
