1979 Topps Nolan Ryan (#115) EX HOFer, Strikeout King w/Angels ^GRUMPYBUCK^

This is Nolan Ryan’s last year with the California Angels. After the 1979 season, he became Major League Baseball $1 million free agent, leaving for his hometown Houston Astros. Ryan would appear in two NLCSs and throw his fifth no-hitter during his time in Houston. In this last season with the Angels, Ryan struck out a league-leading 223 batters.
