1979 Topps Joe Theismann (#155) NM SB Champ, MVP, Redskins Great ^GRUMPYBUCK^

Following his college career at Notre Dame, Joe Theismann spent three seasons with the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts before joining the Washington Redskins for the 1974 season. He really hit his stride in the early 80s when he won an MVP award and led the Redskins to a Super Bowl championship — the first of the Joe Gibbs era.
