1979–80 Topps David Thompson (#50) NM High-Scoring HOFer ^GRUMPYBUCK^

David “Skywalker” Thompson was one of the NBA’s most prolific scorers in the late 1970s. After winning an NCAA national championship with North Carolina State in 1974, he played for the Denver Nuggets and Seattle SuperSonics during a brief but powerful career.

This 1979-80 Topps card (#50) is in near-mint condition. Interestingly, it lists his college as “North Carolina” rather than “North Carolina State,” which I’m sure Wolfpack fans loved. The card in the photos is the card you will get.
