By 1978, Greg Pruitt had carved out a reputation as one of the NFL’s most elusive backs. Though undersized, the Browns' sparkplug could juke defenders out of their shoes and explode for big plays. A Pro Bowl regular and fan favorite in Cleveland, Pruitt was the kind of back who made you hold your breath every time he touched the ball.
