Across a relatively short career, Dave Cowens was a dominant force in the paint for the Boston Celtics. He won Rookie of the Year in the 1970–71 season, and he was the NBA MVP for 1972–73. He was part of two championship teams, and he is deservedly in the Hall of Fame.
