Willie McCovey was one of baseball’s most feared sluggers — a Hall-of-Famer, 6-time All-Star, and 1969 NL MVP who crushed 521 career home runs. “Stretch” was a cornerstone of the San Francisco Giants for two decades, known for his towering blasts and clutch hitting.
