Tommy Nobis was the first-ever draft pick of the Atlanta Falcons and quickly became the heart and soul of the franchise. Nicknamed “Mr. Falcon,” Nobis was a tackling machine and five-time Pro Bowler who brought intensity and leadership to the middle of the defense. A College Football Hall of Famer and beloved figure in Atlanta sports history.
