The 1968 season got off to a rough start for the Texas Longhorns. They tied Houston and lost to Texas Tech. And then James Street took over at quarterback to run the newly installed wishbone offense — and Texas caught fire. It closed the regular season with eight straight wins followed by a Cotton Bowl victory over Tennessee. The win streak would stretch to 30 games before it finally ended.

This program is in good condition for its age. There’s slight discoloration along the top, but it's in really nice shape otherwise. It's still a program that you can flip through and enjoy.
