Fergie Jenkins was the definition of a workhorse — piling up strikeouts and innings with smooth mechanics and pinpoint command. The first Canadian inducted into the Hall of Fame, Jenkins won the 1971 Cy Young Award and notched six straight 20-win seasons for the Cubs. Cool under pressure and always in control, he was one of the most reliable arms of the late '60s and '70s.
