Dicky Moegle is forever linked to one of the wildest plays in college football history. In the 1954 Cotton Bowl, while sprinting untouched for a 95-yard touchdown, Moegle was shockingly tackled by an Alabama player who ran off the sideline — resulting in a rare, awarded TD. That moment lives on in highlight reels, rulebooks, and trivia lore.

Moegle went on to play in the NFL as a defensive back, including with the 49ers, and is featured here in the beautifully designed 1957 Topps set — one of the most beloved vintage football releases.
