Harvey Haddix was a reliable left-handed pitcher best remembered for his incredible 1959 performance, when he threw 12 perfect innings before losing in the 13th. A 3-time Gold Glove winner and 2-time All-Star, Haddix was respected throughout the league for his poise and consistency on the mound.
